Province Mortgage Associates, one of the few remaining privately owned mortgage lenders left in the state of Rhode Island, has been celebrating their 20th anniversary throughout 2025. What better way for the Province Team to end this landmark year than with another fun and impactful Province holiday fundraiser. Every year since company President, David Currie opened Province Mortgage Associates in 2005, they have always made a collective team effort to support special causes and people in need within the communities they serve. From gathering holiday gifts for seniors in nursing homes and supplies for veterans on the streets, to building their own toy store for families in need in the conference room at 50 Office Parkway in East Providence, Province has prioritized charitable giving and support as an important part of their corporate mission. For Dave Currie and his dedicated staff, it’s not about recognition, but more about pioneering a standard that other local small to midsized companies can emulate.
Once again this year, Province will be working with Foster Forward, a local non-profit organization dedicated to improving the child welfare system, supporting young adolescents and adults who are currently or formerly in the foster care program. On Tuesday, December 9th, 5:30PM-7:30PM at Pawtucket Country Club, all are invited to attend the “Province Pics with Santa Event” to benefit Foster Forward. For just $25 per family, you can come and have professional photographs taken with Santa for your family or team. There will be hot chocolate and cookie decorating for the kids all served up with a joyous holiday vibe. All net cash proceeds will go to help Foster Forward purchase gift cards for teens in the foster care system.
